Google released Gen AI Python SDK 3.0.0 with breaking changes: the default Gemini Developer API version is now v1 (was v1beta), and the default HTTP client is now httpx2 instead of httpx (which is no longer installed by default). Vertex AI/Enterprise clients are unaffected by the version default, and both defaults can be restored via GOOGLE_GENAI_API_VERSION and GOOGLE_GENAI_HTTP_CLIENT environment variables or HttpOptions in code. CodeExecutionResultStep.result also changed from a string to a union type.
