OpenAI released Python SDK 3.37.0 (2026-10-22) with a breaking change to Decisions types: question instructions in Live response models can now be a string or a list of structured text, image, or JSON parts, and Decisions request input types gained additional message roles and tool-history items. Existing string instructions and DecisionInputMessageParam user-message inputs remain supported.
