OpenAI released v3.30.0 of its Python SDK on 2026-10-14. It adds beta session spending limits, OCI external-storage provider support, organization Decisions usage reporting, image tool error/moderation details, image URL and safety alert support, and project API key expiry updates, plus a fix restoring async HTTP/1.1 connection reuse in streaming.
