Mistral launched a public preview of Mistral Large 4 (ML4), a 1 trillion-parameter (49B active) natively multimodal open-weight model, available via the preview API on Mistral Studio at $1.36/M input and $4.18/M output tokens. It targets coding, agentic workflows, cybersecurity, finance, and visual grounding, with weights to be released by the end of the month and training run on 3,800 NVIDIA Grace Blackwell GPUs in European datacenters. The model is fluent in 160+ languages and will serve as the base for future specialized Mistral models.
