Mistral launched a public preview of Mistral Large 4 (ML4), a 1 trillion-parameter natively multimodal MoE model with 49 billion active parameters, available via the preview API in Mistral Studio at $1.36/M input and $4.18/M output tokens. It is state-of-the-art among open-weight models on cybersecurity, finance, legal, coding, and visual grounding benchmarks, and the weights will be released by the end of the month. The model was trained on 3,800 NVIDIA Grace Blackwell GPUs in Mistral's own European datacenters and supports 160+ languages.
